Free: Parade, Fall Festival In Rock Hill On Saturday

Rock Hill‘s annual parade and fall festival happens from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Market at McKnight, 9500 Manchester Road.

The parade kicks off at 11 a.m. at Hudson Elementary School, 9825 Husdon Ave. at Kortwright Ave.

The parade will go west to Salem Hills Dr., then south to Blue Bell Lane. The parade proceeds south on Blue Bell to Manchester Road where it turns east and continues to the Market at McKnight at 9500 Manchester Road.

The Fall Festival, which starts at 11:30 a.m., includes “A Taste of Rock Hill” culinary event, performances by local jazz, vocal, and instrumental groups, classic autos, several competitions including a canine costume competition and activities for children.

St. Louis Chamber Jazz Quartet will perform from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Nationally acclaimed musician Javier Mendoza performs from 3-5 p.m.
