Cheap: $5 Footlong Subs at Subway During 'Februany'

Subway Februany footlongsIf you’re like me, maybe you’ve been tuning out those commercials on TV for “Februany”–Subway’s $5 footlong ad campaign.

But you should start listening. For a mere five bucks you can get a foot-long beef and cheese sub loaded with all kinds of  veggies including olives and jalapenos with a splash of sauce.

But apparently the economy has caught up with Subway. In the past all of its foot-longs were $5 in February but while the list of $5 sandwiches is quite long, the roast beef (my fave), steak and cheese and chicken and bacon ranch melt are actually $6.

The deal is good all month until Feb. 28 at St. Louis area participating Subways.

Cheap: $5 Footlong Sandwiches At St. Louis Area Subway Shops

One of the best sandwich deals out there is Subway‘s $5 footlong subs.

For just five bucks you can get a sandwich loaded with veggies including olives and jalapenos with a splash of sauce. The sandwiches are so big can eat half now and half later.

Subway offers all of its foot-long subs for $5 in February but during the rest of the year the company offers featured $5 subs each month. In June it’s the Black Forest ham, the BLT, the cold cut combo, the egg and cheese, the oven roasted chicken with spinach and the Veggie Delite.®

The fine print: Some items may not be available in all markets. Prices and participation may vary.  Plus applicable taxes. See store for details.

There are lots of Subway sandwich shops in the St. Louis area.

Get $5 Footlong Subs at Subway During 'Februany'

If you’re like me, maybe you’ve been tuning out those commercials on TV for “Februany”–Subway’s $5 footlong ad campaign.

The commercials must have taken hold in my subconscious, though, because the other day I passed a Subway shop and decided to stop. For five bucks I got a foot-long beef and cheese sub loaded with veggies including olives and jalapenos with a splash of sauce. I don’t have that many trimmings in my fridge so it was a real treat.  The sandwich was so big I had half of it for lunch and the other half for dinner.

Now that I know what a bargain the $5 footlong deal is, I’ll be back several times before the month is out. That’s when Februany ends.j
