The Cliff Cave branch of the St. Louis County Library will show The Help at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012. The branch is at 5430 Telegraph Road, Oakville. The controversial movie is about the relationship of a white fledgling writer and the African-American housekeeper of the writer’s best friend.

Beastly The Jamestown Bluffs branch of the St. Louis County Library will show Beastly at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 in a program for teenagers. Beastly is a modern retelling of the classic fable Beauty and the Beast; a New York teen is transformed into a monster to find true love. The library requires viewers to register.
