Schnucks offered triple coupons on those with a face value of 50 cents or less last week, and Dierbergs matched the deal. It remains to be seen if Dierbergs will match the “super double coupon” deal.
Small Business Saturday, an initiative from American Express, encourages shopping in local brick and mortar stores.
American Express customers can get a $25 credit on their cards when they use their American Express card at a local store on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012. First, you must register your American Express card with Small Business Saturday. Only a limited number of cards can be registered. Then, on Saturday, Nov. 24, shop at a local small business that has registered for this program, spend at least $25 in one transaction, and pay with your American Express card. In about eight weeks you’ll find a $25 credit on your card.
You can find local participating businesses by entering your city name or zip code on the Small Business Saturday map or (for small businesses that accept American Express payment through The Square) The Square Directory.
