Day of DanceSt. Luke’s popular Day of Dance for women returns from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Feb. 23, 2013 at the Ritz-Carlton, 100 Carondelet Plaza in Clayton.

The event is FREE but you must register and there are a limited number of spaces. Register now as this event fills up fast.

Day of Dance  features healthy dance instruction,  free health screenings, tips on staying healthy, refreshments, door prizes and, of course, dance.

The event features healthy dance instruction,  free health screenings, tips on staying healthy, refreshments, door prizes and fun, fun, FUN.

Free: St. Luke's Hospital's Day Of Dance; Register Now

St. Luke’s popular Day of Dance for women returns this year at a new location–the Ritz-Carlton, 100 Carondelet Plaza in Clayton.

The event, to be held from 9 a.m.-12:3- p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25, features free health screening, way to stay health and door prizes–and the chance to dance, dance, dance.

There will also be a guest appearance by Monica Adams from Fox 2 News in the Morning.

That day you can get free screenings for blood pressure, body mass index, bone density and pulmonary function. There’s a $20 fee for fasting cholesterol and glucose screening.

This event is free but sells out early so register now.

Free: St. Louis Diabetes Technology Expo At Ritz-Carleton In Clayton On Saturday

Learn how new technology is changing diabetes management at the St. Louis Diabetes Technology Expo from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m, Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Ritz-Carleton in Clayton.

The event is free and open to the public.

It is sponsored by Esse Health and the St. Louis Diabetes Coalition.

Health care professionals and researchers will present information about on-the-market advances in medication, blood glucose monitoring and nutrition. The Expo also features a product showcase where attendees can test the latest products and talk with company representatives.

Speakers will include Kathleen Brunts, MD, Internist, Esse Health Richmond Heights Internal Medicine; Eric S. Armbrecht, PhD, Assistant Professor, Saint Louis University Center for Outcomes Research Health Management & Policy, Internal Medicine; Joan McGinnis, RN, MSN, CDE, Director of Education, St. Louis Diabetes Coalition and Marjorie Maxwell, RD, CDE, Esse Health.
