Meet in front of the Museum Shop at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 2 for a free, one-hour guided tour of Laumeier’s outdoor collection. Laumeier County Park is at 12580 Rott Road in Sunset Hills.
While you’re at the park, check out “Dog Days of Summer,” an exhibition that explores the relationship between man and his “best friend.” The work of 10 artists spanning nearly three centuries is featured. Highlight of the exhibit is a dog trail by Finnish artist Tea Mäkipää. It’s a multisensory experience for both canine and human visitors along Laumeier’s Nature Trail. The exhibit ends Sunday.
Bring your pooch to “Yappy Hour” at Laumeier County Park from 5-8 p.m. today for an evening of fun.
You can purchase dinner and refreshments from vendors and enjoy a variety of activities, demonstrations and competitions for you and your canine buddy.
You both can enjoy a dog trail by Finnish artist Tea Mäkipää that’s a multisensory experience for both canine and human visitors along Laumeier’s Nature Trail. Pet sitters will be on hand so you can enjoy “Dog Days of Summer,” an indoor exhibit.

The musical entertainment starts at 7 p.m. with the movies following at dusk, typically around 8:30-8:45 p.m.
Laumeier’s Music and Movies series combines music and movies in the relaxed atmosphere of an open-air amphitheatre amid large-scale sculptures.
Tonight the music is by Pay the Cobra (acoustic rock) and the movie is Annie (1982), Rated G.

Looking for something fun and free to do this weekend? If you’re in St. Louis, you’re in luck! Few places in the entire have as many free events as The Lou.

This weekend you can attend a free photo workshop at the Arch, take in a Shakespeare play in Forest Park, partake in the Horseradish Festival in Collinsville and attend a celebration to America’s iconic Route 66 on the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge. You might still be able to pick up a free donut today to celebrate National Donut Day.

Here’s an interesting event, a double feature, of sorts–and it’s free!
LOMA (Laumeier Outdoor Music Amphitheatre) combines movies and music Music and Movies for a great night of entertainment. The event pairs local musicians and family-friendly movies under the stars at the Laumeier Outdoor Music Amphitheatre in Laumeier County Park. The setting is an open-air amphitheatre amid large-scale sculptures. The music starts at 7 p.m. with the movies at dusk, typically around 8:30-8:45 p.m.
Food, snacks, beer, wine and soda will be available for purchase from Cha Cha Chow food truck but guests are welcome to bring picnic baskets, lawn chairs and blankets. Coolers are permitted, but glass bottles aren’t. No pets are allowed for special events at Laumeier.
