Free: Concert In St. Louis' Lafayette Park Saturday Night

The Funky Butt Brass Band will perform at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 16 in Lafayette Park at 2023 Lafayette Avenue in St. Louis.

FBBB says it “takes traditional New Orleans brass tunes and gives them a funky flavor, in the style of the Dirty Dozen and Rebirth Brass Bands, but don’t be surprised if you also hear a little Motown, some Southern rock and a touch of straight-ahead Chicago blues.”

A Bug's Life

The movie, A Bug’s Life, highlights an evening of activity starting at 6 p.m. Sept. 17, 2011,  at the Lafayette Park gazebo.

The movie starts at 7:30 p.m. Activities for adults and children, including a performance by Juggling Jeff, starts at 6 p.m.

The park is at Park and Missouri avenues in St. Louis.

Jim Stevens

The Jim Stevens Group will perform at 6 p.m. Saturday,  Aug. 27, 2011,  at the Lafayette Park gazebo. The park is at Park and Missouri avenues in St. Louis.

The group features saxophonist Jim Stevens and musicians that back him up. The group plays soul, blues and rock.

The Ralph Butler Band plays on Sept. 10 at the gazebo.
