If your last name is Miller or you have “Miller” anywhere in your name, it’s time to cash in on it!

Head to downtown St. Louis today, Sept. 18 and get a free $25 “It’s Miller Time” gift card. You need to be 21 or older and hold a valid ID showing your first, middle or last name as “Miller.”

MillerCoor’s has been celebrating the return of “Miller Time” With “It’s Miller Time On Us” giveaways in various cities. St. Louis is the final stop on the tour.   The St. Louis event has special meaning because “Shelby Miller isn’t the only ‘Miller’ in town,” a company spokesperson said.

The free cards are being given away to Millers so they “can enjoy a little Miller Time with their friends,” the spokesperson said.

The event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at Kiener Plaza, 600 Market St. in downtown St. Louis. There’s a limit of one card per person.

In addition to St. Louis, “It’s Miller Time On Us” events were held in Chicago, Las Vegas, Charlotte, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Indianapolis.

Olé! Hispanic Festival Starts Today In Downtown St. Louis--It's Free!

Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival kicks off today downtown St. Louis.

The action happens until 10 p.m., tonight and continues from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday at Kiener Plaza. Admission is free.

Live Latino Bands, folkloric dancers, Hispanic arts and crafts and authentic food are all part of the fun.

There’ll be plenty for the little ones to do at Los Niños Kids Corner. A parade of Hispanic Nations will also be held.

Free: Hispanic Festival Sept. 7-9 In Downtown St. Louis

KMOX Rivalry Rally Today At Kiener Plaza In Downtown St. Louis

Kiener Plaza’s where it’s at tonight as  KMOX stages the biggest t pre-party before the the hometown boys take on their rivals from Chicago.

Celebrate St. Louis baseball with live music on the Laclede Gas stage from 3-7 p.m. today. Food and drink will be available.

Free: Clean Air Festival Will Feature Live Music, Frozen Custard, Info On 'Living Green'

Head down to Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis on Thursday, May 19, for the 8th annual Clean Air Festival. The free event, hosted by the St. Louis Regional Clean Air Partnership, will run from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and will mark the official start of air quality forecasting for the summer season.

Soulard Blues Band and the Green Strum Project will provide live music and there will be free Ted Drewes frozen custard, prize giveaways and a chance to win St. Louis Cardinals tickets. Exhibitors will include the American Lung Association of the Plains-Gulf Region, Citizens for Modern Transit, Earthways Center, Madison County Transit, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources Air Pollution Program, the Missouri Department of Transportation, RideFinders, the St. Louis Regional Clean Air Partnership, Trailnet, the U.S. Green Building Council-Missouri Gateway Chapter, WeCar and White Caps, Green Collars, LLC.

Attendees will get information on how they can “go green” and do their share for cleaner air year-round.

Interactive exhibits will show the health effects of poor air quality and demonstrate how living “greener” can reduce the emissions that lead to poor air quality and improve the health of  area residents. Steps to living greener include carpooling or using transit, walking or biking instead of driving and choosing to recycle and turning off appliances that aren’t in use.

This is one of our favorite St. Louis events.

Come enjoy a taste of summer in all of its St. Louis glory from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow at the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission‘s Be A Tourist In Your Own Town.  It’s your annual chance to see exhibits by the area’s most popular attractions.  In addition there will be free refreshments, music and prizes. St. Pat's Day Parade Set For Noon In Downtown St. Louis

It’s time to be Irish again!

The 42nd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade steps off at noon on Saturday from 18th and Market Streets in downtown St. Louis. The parade, featuring floats, marching band and giant helium-filled balloons, heads east on Market to Broadway and then south on Broadway where it disbands.

Before, during and after the parade, check out the  Hilton St. Louis Irish Village in Kiener Plaza (Broadway and Market Streets) in downtown St. Louis. There’ll be entertainment, including live bands, food, family activities and Irish merchandise for sale. The village operates from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Before the race, the 33rd Annual Michelob Ultra St. Patrick’s Day Parade Run takes to the downtown streets at 9 a.m. that morning. The five-mile run begins and concludes on Broadway south of the Hilton St. Louis at the St. Louis Cardinals Ballpark. Runners of all ages and abilities can participate. Registration is $25 in advance or $30 on race day. It’s free to watch.
