Wendy’s has given its cheeseburgers a taste lift and are taking them on tour giving away 37,000 free burgers along the way. They’re callling it Dave’s Hot N Juicy Cheeseburgers in honor of founder Dave Thomas.
The bad news is the tour isn’t stopping in St. Louis but if you happen to be in Kansas City on Nov. 9 or Columbia on Nov. 12, you have a crack at getting a freebie.
Les Bourgeois is located near Rocheport a mile north of I-70 midway between St. Louis and Kansas City. There’s a $3 cover charge for the music series.
Here’s the lineup for the rest of the season:
9/3, Django’s Tiger
9/10, The Baboonz
9/17, Planet Jazz
10/1, River City Singers
10/8, Primitive Soul
Southwest Airlines just announced a “Click N Save” Sale with several destinations from St. Louis. The sale prices are a bit disappointing, though–one one (Kansas City, $79 one way) is less than $114 and many are more than that.
The sale is not listed on its website and apparently is only available when you sign up for its weekly email offers.
