Group Hug At The Grove Today, Monday, May 30, 2011

Sarah and Manchester in the Grove neighborhood is the place to be today 5/30/11 if you want to be part of a St. Louis group hug.

The hug will happen at 5 p.m. at the Grove sign.  The photo will be submitted in the GROUPHUG photo competition sponsored by City Affair. The organizations says it is the first event of its kind in the nation.

You can also hug your favorite St. Louis place/landmark/person and snap a photo to enter in the competition.  On June 2, participants and friends are invited to attend the GROUPHUG party to view pics, listen to music and express their love for STL. Winners will be awarded prizes including a $100 cash top prize.

Cleveland-based Saving Cities will be filming portions of the event and conducting interviews to document grassroots efforts to “save” Rust Belt cities.  For more information, visit www.savingcities.com
