Free: Missouri History Museum Hosts Family Fun Event

Families can enjoy puppet shows, hands-on activities, live music and a model train display from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013,  at the Missouri History Museum.

The event is part of the museum’s Second Sunday Celebrations series.

The museum is located at Lindell Boulevard and DeBaliviere Avenue in Forest Park.

Free: Family Fun Day Sunday At The Missouri History Museum

Here’s a way to beat the January blahs–the Missouri History Museum is holding a free Family Fun Day on Sunday, Jan. 8.

Enjoy puppets shows, hands-on activities, an archaeology display, a weaving demonstration and a model train display. The fun happens from noon to 3 p.m. in the AT&T Foundation Multipurpose Room.

The Missouri History Museum is located at Lindell and DeBaliviere in Forest Park.

Free: Delta Dental Health Theatre Family Fun Day Saturday In Laclede's Landing

Here’s a great family event–and it’s free!

The newly reconstructed Delta Dental Health Theatre  is holding a Family Fun Day tomorrow, Aug. 6 with a free, medieval-themed outdoor festival on a grassy lot down from the theatre.

The event will feature a parade and meet-and-greet with the theatre’s cast of characters and other kid favorites, including Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants, games, prizes, stage performances, face painters, balloon artists, jugglers and a Street Dreamz Talent Contest.

The Delta Dental Health Theatre is at at the corner of First and Lucas Streets in Laclede’s Landing.
