The program is part of the Fair Saint Louis summer concert series entitled Celebrate St. Louis Summer Concerts at Soldiers Memorial in the heart of the city.
Other concerts include The Offspring on July 20. St. Louis’ own Nelly wraps up the series on July 21.
In the mid 90s, Michael Franti first formed the group Spearhead. It’s said that the group merged his positive and socially conscious attitude with his love for music to create roots and reggae tracks with powerful themes. “The Sound of Sunshine,” which was released in 2010 reaffirms Franti’s talent for connecting with fans.

Singer, songwriter and guitarist Keb’ Mo’s music is a living link to the historic Delta blues that traveled across the expanse of America. Mo’s music is pure, post-modern expression of the cultural journey that transformed America’s perspective on the blues.
A local band performing at 8 p.m. will be the opening act.
Then at 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, Bare Naked Ladies performs, also at Soldiers Memorial. A local live band will be the opening act performing at 8 p.m.

It’s the final jam-packed day for Fair St. Louis with Montgomery Gentry headlining the entertainment tonight and, of course, fireworks capping off the night at 9:15 p.m.
Despite the cancellation of the concert and fireworks due to weather yesterday, the Fair resumes at 11 a.m. today.
Everyone attending Fair Saint Louis must pass through one of five security stations to get unto the Arch grounds.
Visitors to Fair Saint Louis will be allowed to bring individual serving plastic bottles onto the Arch grounds as long as security personnel can ensure they do not contain alcohol.
No coolers or large liquid containers will be allowed.
