Dirty Muggs wraps up the Saint Louis Zoo’s popular Jungle Boogie Friday Night Concert Series with a free concert at 5 p.m. today in the center of the zoo.

Dirty Muggs describes itself as a high energy, choreographic machine that provides everything you have always wanted in a band.”

It’s also the final weekend for the Zoo’s extended hours with “North Star Summer Zoo Weekends.” The Zoo is open until 7 p. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Sept. 3.

Galaxy Red, variety/dance musicians performs a free concert at 5 p.m. today  as part of The Saint Louis Zoo’s popular Jungle Boogie Friday Night Concert Series. The series continues through Aug. 31.

“Splish splash” with the stingrays, “cha-cha” with the cheetahs, “salsa” with the sea lions or “two-step” with the tigers at Jungle Boogie at the concert that is held in the center of the zoo each Friday during the summer.

Also, visitors can enjoy extended hours with “North Star Summer Zoo Weekends” when the Zoo remains open until 7 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Sept.b 3.

Jungle Boogie wraps up the season on Aug. 31 when Dirty Muggs entertains.

Free: Charles Glenn Performs At Jungle Boogie At The St. Louis Zoo Friday

Charles Glenn performs Friday at this week’s Jungle Boogie at the Saint Louis Zoo.

The popular free Friday night concert series happens at 5 p.m. in the center of the zoo. The series continues every Friday through Aug. 31.

Glen, an Emmy Award winning vocalist, has sung the national anthem at games of the St. Louis Blues, the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Rams. He has opened for acts such as Smokey Robinson, Huey Lewis and the News and the Allman Brothers.

You can linger a little longer weekends at the zoo with North Star Summer Zoo Weekend hours. The zoo is open until 7 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Sept. 3.

This week the Johnny Henry Band performs this week at the popular free Friday night concert series. The series continues through Aug. 31.

The action happens at 5 p.m. in the center of the zoo. It’s a fun way to start a summer weekend.

The Zoo has extended summer hours, too. North Star Summer Zoo Weekend hours are  8 a.m.-7 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Sept. 3. The Zoo will close at 5 p.m. June 15 for a fundraiser.
