Time is running out to experience “Amazing Animal Encounters” this year. The program features World Bird Sanctuary naturalists who give you a fun look at snakes, parrots, birds and mammals in an environmental education program that shows you what you can do to help them survive. The program is given at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Labor Day.
The Sanctuary is in St. Louis County off the intersection of Interstate 44 and Route 141 in Valley Park. Look for the state highway signs on Interstate 44 and Route 141.
Admission and parking are free. Reservations are not necessary.
