Here’s an event that makes learning about the past fun.

Faust Olden Days Of Summer will introduce kids to the ways of old with rope making, candle dipping and blacksmith demonstrations. Other activities include corn husk doll making, a petting zoo, pony rides for kids weighing up to 80 pounds and rides on the St. Louis Carousel.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Faust County Park in Chesterfield on Wednesday, June 13.

If you miss the event, not to worry. It repeats on July 11 and Aug. 8.

The historic village buildings, including the Alt School House, will be open during Faust Olden Days of Summer. Admission is $8 per child (age 2-12) in advance or $10 per child on the day of the event.  Parents are free with a paid child admission.
