Vote for Pedro, which plays a wide variety of music, will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at the Chesterfield Amphitheater, 631 Veteran’s Place Drive, Chesterfield.
Concession stands will be at the event.
The city concert series will run through September. Other performers will be Contagious, Aug. 25, St. Louis Big Band, Sept. 8, and Well Hungarians, Sept. 22.
Red Sky Junkies will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at the band shell of Gentry Park, 4201 FeeFee Road, Bridgeton.
The band specializes in Top 40 country music.
The Bridgeton Kiwanis Club offers a barbecue and beverages.
The city will present Mirage on Aug. 19.
The headquarters of the St. Louis County Library will show “Babe” at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2012. The branch is at 1640 South Lindbergh Boulevard, Ladue.
The movie is about Babe, a pig raised by sheepdogs, who learns to herd sheep with help from a farmer.
The Grand Glaize branch of the St. Louis County Library will show “Puss in Boots” at 2 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2012. The branch is at 1010 Meramec Station Road, Manchester.
The movie is about events leading up to the sword-fighting cat’s meeting with Shrek and his friends.
 St. Charles Municipal Band
The St. Charles Municipal Band will play at 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, in Frontier Park along Riverside Drive, St. Charles.
The band will play every Thursday at the same time until Aug. 30.
 Honeyvox
Honeyvox will perform at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at Schroeder Park, 359 Old Meramec Station Road, Mamchester.
The band covers material from 1960s to today.
The city will present Scott Laytham & Karl “Trickee” Holmes on Oct. 5.
Triology will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2012 at Field 4 of Brentwood Park, 9100 Russell Avenue, Brentwood.
The band plays a variety of musical styles.
The Brentwood Lion’s Club will sell barbecues.
The Cliff Cave branch of the St. Louis County Library will show “We Bought a Zoo” at noon Friday, Aug. 3, 2012. The branch is at 5430 Telegraph Road, Oakville.
The movie is about a single dad who moves his family into a decrepid zoo and returns it to its former glory.
The branch viewers to bring their lunch to help enjoy the movie.

The World Bird Sanctuary presents the Birds in Concert series on Thursday nights in August. The events, which begins at 7 p.m., will start with the sanctuary’s in-house band, The Raptor Project who will play songs from its children’s education CDs. Except for Aug. 9, a local performer or band will follow the sanctuary band.
The sanctuary is at 125 Bald Eagle Ridge Road, west St. Louis County. It is off of Park Road in Lone Elk County Park north of Interstate 44 and west of Highway 141.
The local performer or bands who will perform are:
• Javier Mendoza, Aug 2.
• Augusta Bottoms Consort, Aug 16. The group plays a variety of musical styles.
• Babaloo, a one-man comedy act for children, Aug. 23.
• The Rebounds which plays dancable classic rock, Aug. 30
City of O’Fallon Community Concert and Jazz Band will play at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2010, at the Civic Park bandstand, off of Highway M (Main Street), O’Fallon.
The event is part of a series the city sponsors. Other performers are:
