 Northwinds Concert Band The Northwinds Concert Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Florissant Valley Park, off of Waterford Drive, Florissant.
The band will play patriotic marches and hits from movies and Broadway musicals. Fireworks will follow the concert.
The concert is part of a series the Florissant Fine Arts Council organized. The other concerts are at St. Ferdinand Park. The peformers are:

• Billy Peak Band, July 28
• Jeff Sable and the Sable Band, Aug. 4
• SmashBand Superhits, Aug. 11
• Butch Wax and the Hollywoods, Aug. 18
• Boeing Employees Concert Band, Aug. 25
 Adam Stanley, a local musician specializing in folk rock, rock and soul, performs at 1 p.m. Saturday at Stone Hill Winery in Hermann, Mo.
The performance is part of the summer-long free live entertainment at the winery.
Hermann is about an hour and a half west of St. Louis.
 "Happy Feet" The Jamestown Bluffs branch of the St. Louis County Library will show “Happy Feet” at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012. The branch is at 4153 North Highway 67, north St. Louis County.
The movie is about a penguin who lacks the singing talent of his fellow birds, but is a good tap dancer.
 "Monsters vs Aliens" The Weber Road branch of the St. Louis County Library will show “Monsters vs Aliens” at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012. The branch is at 4444 Weber Road, Affton.
The movie is about a woman transformed into a giant after a meteorite strikes her on her wedding day becomes part of a team of monsters working to defeat an alien mastermind who wants to take over the Earth.
The Jamestown Bluffs branch of the St. Louis County Library will show “Cars 2” at10 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012. The branch is at 4153 North Highway 67, north St. Louis County.
The animated movie is about Star race car Lightning McQueen and his pal Mater who go overseas to compete in the World Grand Prix race. But Mater gets caught up in international espionage.
 The Greer's The Greer’s Bluegrass Band will present a free concert at 7 p.m. Monday July 2 at Bellerive Park at South Broadway and Bates Street, St. Louis.
The band plays bluegrass and Gospel music.
 The Oak Bend branch of the St. Louis County Library will show “Up” at 2 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012. The branch is at 842 South Holmes Avenue, southwest St. Louis County.
The movie is about a 78-year old man who tries to fulfill his lifelong dream about seeing the wilds of South America by tying thousands of balloons to his house.
 The Rock Road branch of the St. Louis County Library will show “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012. The branch is at 10267 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann.
The branch requires viewers to register in advance. They may do so on the Internet or by calling 314-994-3300.
 The Indian Trails branch of the St. Louis County Library will show the fantasy film “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1,” at 4 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012. The branch is at 8400 Delport Drive, Vinita Park.
The movie is the fourth in the Twilight saga.
The branch wants viewers to register in advance. They may do so via the Internet or by calling 314-994-3300.
The Daniel Boone branch of the St. Louis County Library will show “Monsters, Inc.” at 2 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012. The branch is 300 Clarkson Road, Ellisville.
The animated movie is about monsters who get their city’s power by scaring children, but are terribly afraid of being contaminated by children.
