 Northwinds Concert Band
The Northwinds Concert Band will play at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2012, at the Plaza at 501. It is at 501 Florissant Road at Suburban Avenue, Ferguson.
The band plays pops favorites.
The city says people should bring a lawn chair or sit at a picnic table. The event includes a food booth. The city allows coolers, but no glass.
The event is part of the Citywalk concert series. Other programs are:

• Jim Stevens Group on Aug. 10
• Crossfire on Aug. 24
• Jeanne Trevor on Sept. 14
• Neon Blues Band on Oct. 12
The Dogtown Allstars band will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at Gazebo Park at Big Bend Road and Lockwood Avenue, Webster Groves. The program concludes with the showing of the movie “Talladega Nights” at 9 p.m.
The last concert and movie at Gazebo Park will start at 7 p.m. July 6 and feature The Painkillers band and “Top Gun” movie.

The Gateway Festival Orchestra will feature American music in the first of its four Sunday concerts in July at Washington University. The program begins at 7:30 p.m. July 1, 2012, in the Brookings Quadrangle.
Works by American composers Morton Gould and Aaron Copeland are on the program, as is a medley from the “Music Man” musical and a salute to the Armed Forces.
The Indian Trails branch of the St. Louis County Library will show the fantasy film “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1″, at 4 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012. The branch is at 8400 Delport Drive, Vinita Park.
The movie is the fourth in the Twilight saga.
The Styled Band will perform at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, on the south side of Heman Park, Midland Boulevard and Vernon Avenue, University City.
The concert is part of a series at the park that includes PowerPlay on July 9; Mystic Voyage, July 16; Fat Pocket Funk, July 23; Retro Boogie, July 30 and Par 3, Aug. 6.
