The Daniel Boone branch of the St. Louis County Library will show Rise of the Planet of the Apes at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012. The branch is at 300 Clarkson Road, Ellisville.

The movie is about a hyper-intelligent chimpanzee who leads a revolution of apes to freedom from man’s exploitation.

Free: Bridgeton Trails Branch Library To Show Star Trek On Wednesday, June 20

The Bridgeton Trails branch of the St. Louis County Library will show Star Trek at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012. The branch is at 3455 McKelvey Road, Bridgeton.

The movie is about a young brash James T. Kirk trying to live up to his father’s legacy. He and other Star Fleet cadets, meanwhile, must stop  a vengeful, time-traveling Romulan from destroying federation planets.

The branch wants viewers to register in advance. They may do so via the Internet or by calling 314-994-3300.
