The event starts at 7 p.m. with free activities for children and a concert by Hollywood 5 at 7:30 p.m. The fireworks display will be at 9:30 p.m.
On-site parking will not be available.

There’s still two days left to the holiday weekend–and two days left to Rockin’ On The Landing. So there’s plenty of time to catch some of that great music by original St. Louis bands and cover groups. The action takes place at historic Laclede’s Landing and goes on to 11 p.m. with time to take in the fireworks display on the St. Louis Riverfront.

The event will be held on the parking lot of Chesterfield Mall on the northwest side between Macy’s and Dillard’s. The main viewing area will include the Main Stage featuring the Blues Plus Band performing from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Children’s entertainment will begin at 6:30 p.m. with inflatables, a mime and a stilt walker performing throughout the evening. The fireworks display, presented by J & M Displays, begins at 9:30 p.m.

The action starts with goo and music by Brandon Salter at Woodson Road Park, 1655 Woodson Road in Overland. The fireworks display commences after the sun goes dow.
If it rains, the Overland Independence Day Celebration will take place on July 4, 2011 at the same times and location.
